Main Ingredients of the Job!
As a US FOODS Receiver you will be responsible for checking inbound product against receiving paperwork to ensure that products match the order in quantity pack size and are labeled accordingly. Also you will ensure product conditions meet acceptable government and company requirements. This helps maintain accurate inventory records and makes sure that the customer is receiving the correct highquality product.
Pay Rate: $24.84
Schedule: Monday Friday 6:00am until finished.
Great Receivers are crucial to the US FOODS team and one of the important faces of our organization. Our Receivers strive for integrity and reliability while building trusting relationships with team members.
What you bring to the table:
Check inbound product identification against invoices and receiving paperwork to insure correct pack/size quantity product quality and temperature pallet ti/hi etc.
Check temperature of all inbound frozen and refrigerated products to ensure proper temperatures and comply with U.S. Foodservices food safety and RRE requirements.
Check the cleanliness of the trailers before they are unloaded.
Verify quantity of each product to ensure physical count agrees with shipping and receiving documentation; report any variances so that inventory levels are accurately adjusted in system.
Apply labels to all incoming product to identify that product in the warehouse for stocking selection and inventory tracking.
Complete required paperwork for daily receiving as per U.S. Foodservice USDA and SOX requirements; sign and date to authenticate products received are placed into inventory.
Education/Training:
High School Diploma/
Related Experience/Requirements:
A minimum of 3 months previous warehousing experience required; previous comparable warehouse experience preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Able to read & write legibly; basic math skills (add subtract multiply divide); good verbal communication skills; basic computer skills
Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education specific skills function geographic location and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $20.60 and $25
