Job Description
At Modern Animal were on a mission to build the future of veterinary care together. We believe in bringing humanity back to veterinary medicine and were looking for a passionate compassionate and skilled Credentialed Veterinary Technician (referred to internally as Veterinary Nurse) to join our growing Virtual Care team.
Available Schedules:
- PartTime Teletriage: Mon Tues Wed Sat Sun 5p10p PST
- FullTime Teletriage (Evening/Overnight): FriSun 5p3a PST & Wed/Thurs 5p10p PST
- $2/hr differential for hours worked between 12a6a (local time)
What Youll Be Doing:
- Engage with members via chat phone and video providing support and education on their pets health and wellbeing
- Triage cases based on veterinary knowledge offering recommendations and ensuring accurate information
- Review medical records to understand patient history and provide informed guidance
- Document clearly and accurately in patient records using veterinary terminology
- Verify and process prescriptions ensuring appropriate followup for client requests
- Deliver toptier client care with empathy and warmth whether over chat phone or video
- Follow protocols maintaining consistency while adjusting to each unique case
- Collaborate crossfunctionally providing feedback to improve processes and systems
