Job Description

Job Type : Full Time Location : Rochester New York Pay : Competitive Pay & Benefits! Job Description

What you will be doing:

  • Program set up and operate CNC mills and lathes for both shortrun and longrun production.
  • Operate CNC Swiss Lathes; experience with Okuma machines is a plus.
  • Utilize Mastercam software for programming with a high degree of proficiency.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Use precision measuring instruments and gauges to ensure parts meet stringent tolerance requirements.
  • Adhere to all quality policies procedures and safety regulations.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with team members and clients.
  • Handle deadlines and prioritize work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime including weekends as needed.

Experience you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming and machining.
  • Strong experience with CNC Swiss Lathes; Okuma knowledge preferred.
  • Proficiency in Mastercam is required.
  • Formal education in CNC machining or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Excellent blueprint reading and measurement skills.
  • Strong work ethic attention to detail and commitment to quality.
