Job Description
What you will be doing:
- Program set up and operate CNC mills and lathes for both shortrun and longrun production.
- Operate CNC Swiss Lathes; experience with Okuma machines is a plus.
- Utilize Mastercam software for programming with a high degree of proficiency.
- Interpret and work from blueprints engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Use precision measuring instruments and gauges to ensure parts meet stringent tolerance requirements.
- Adhere to all quality policies procedures and safety regulations.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with team members and clients.
- Handle deadlines and prioritize work in a fastpaced environment.
- Willingness to work overtime including weekends as needed.
Experience you will need:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming and machining.
- Strong experience with CNC Swiss Lathes; Okuma knowledge preferred.
- Proficiency in Mastercam is required.
- Formal education in CNC machining or a related technical field is preferred.
- Excellent blueprint reading and measurement skills.
- Strong work ethic attention to detail and commitment to quality.
