Job Description
Our Project Managers are directly responsible for building out the systems that let our communities public safety education public works and business organizations effectively communicate and deliver services. What we do matters; it is a job you can take pride in.
This is a critical role that requires team members to visit customer locations and interact directly with customers as well as with our system engineers service technicians and installation crews. To succeed candidates will need to be dependable customer service oriented total team players professional in appearance and good at communicating (both in writing and verbally.)

Job Description:
The Project Manager is responsible for mapping out the path to successful project delivery and collaborating with customers consultants and coworkers to progress along that path. This involves:
Reading contract documents to understand our scope of work.
Creating updating and maintaining project plans and schedules.
Updating and maintaining cost estimates and issue logs.
Conducting project meetings to provide status updates to stakeholders and taking accurate meeting minutes.
Negotiating and preparing change orders.
Procuring equipment materials and subcontractors.
Requirements
Requirements of the Position:
A bachelor s degree in a business or technical area of knowledge is preferred.
Active current PMP certification is mandatory.
Experience delivering solutions to outside customers is mandatory.
3 years of handson experience managing multiple concurrent $2MM telecommunications data center or network deployment projects for external customers. Digital RF and microwave system deployment experience is preferred. Site/facility development experience is also valued. Experience delivering results to external customers is mandatory.
Experience leading inperson presentations to customers and stakeholders.
Proficiency with MS Project Excel Word PowerPoint and Teams.
Must have a valid US Drivers license must pass a preemployment drug screen & background check.
Understanding of customer expectations / requirements Fulfils commitments to customers. Pro-active problem solving Able to work under pressure. Self-motivated & target driven. Good understanding of technical concepts (telecommunications) Computer database experience Requires strong computer skills. Including creation of various reports & complex spreadsheets. Must be proficient in entire Microsoft Office Suite with a strong focus on Excel & Word. Microsoft Dynamics AX Experience also preferred. Excellent motivational & communication skills Forward strategic thinking Experience of resource planning & understanding of budgeting. Able to travel for training & other activities. Provide recordkeeping as related to time worked, attendance, worker compensation, reprimands, & terminations.
