Job Summary: The purpose of this workstudy position is to support the Social Media Coordinators efforts in engaging audiences particularly through video content.
Essential Functions:
- Creating weekly content calendars
- Tracking social media analytics to identify highperforming posts and campaigns
- Performing competitor and market research
- Responding to comments and DMs on TikTok
- Brainstorming and researching ideas for original content
- Monitoring social media trends to implement into content calendar
- Write captions that speak to the colleges target audience
- Formulating filming editing finalizing and posting shortform video content on TikTok and other social media platforms as needed
- Assisting with video content shoots
- Ensuring brand message is consistent across all social platforms
- Providing suggestions to management for improving customer experience on social platforms
- The student must demonstrate enthusiasm punctuality reliability and excellent organizational and communication skills in addition to being able to troubleshoot and problemsolve
- Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate shoots not within regular office hours
- Other duties as assigned on a casebycase basis
Skills:
- Ability to fluently read write and understand the English language
- Professional communication skills both oral and written
- Must be reliable organized detailoriented able to take initiative and ownership of assigned projects
- Comfortable being on camera
- Must have serviceable skill level with editing text for grammar
- Availability on some nights and weekends to cover events as determined by the Social Media Coordinator
