Job Description
As a Program Director youll play a pivotal role in providing progressive and goaloriented supports to individuals with developmental disabilities in the community. Youll have the opportunity to lead with compassion creativity and dedication ensuring that our programs meet the unique needs of each individual.
What Youll Do:
- The Program Director will help create a lasting positive impact on peoples lives by leading a team of Direct Support Professionals who coach mentor and encourage others to reach their goals
- Ensure meaningful community integration activities for the people we serve
- Development of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and the coordination of behavioral supports.
- Oversight of all Day Program operations including developing and monitoring quality services budgets and financial responsibilities facility and fleet management
- Supervise train and support staff in alignment with personcentered practices
- Compliance with regulations policies and procedures
- Collaboration with stakeholders and regulators including families residential providers Harbor Regional Center and Community Care Licensing
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of supervisory/management experience in the field of disability services.
- 2 years of experience working with individuals served in a licensed adult day program or an adult day health care facility.
- 3 years experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record.
- Physicians clearance and TB test clearance.
- Able to life/transfer up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in human services field (Psychology Counseling Social Work Allied Health Educational Psychology Sociology Human Services etc.)
- Experience working with Regional Centers Community Care Licensing and knowledge of Title 22 and Title 17 regulations.
Hours:
- Fulltime exempt position (40 hours per week).
- Schedule must have flexibility to accommodate program individual and staff needs
