The fulltime starting salary is normally 51580.00 per annum with progression available in post to 56067.00 per annum. This role also carries a 10% market supplement.

Were offering an exciting newly created opportunity for an experienced and peoplecentred professional to join our supportive friendly and highperforming HR Business Partnering Team. As Employee Relations Manager youll play a key strategic role in partnering with academic and professional services leaders across the University delivering expert guidance and oversight on all aspects of employee relations case management.
Reporting to the Head of HR Business Partnering youll drive consistency clarity and continuous improvement in our ER practices. Youll develop and implement clear guidance templates and process maps that support timely fair and effective case resolution.
This role also carries line management responsibility for a team of HR Business Partners and HR Advisorsproviding leadership coaching and support to enable highquality service delivery across the University.

The appointed candidate will normally be employed through our subsidiary company BCU Support Services Limited a wholly owned subsidiary of Birmingham City University. Appointees with prior LGPS membership who wish to enter the LGPS scheme will be able to do so and will be employed by Birmingham City University directly.
