The Highfield Hospital in Rochdale is part of Circle Health Group Britains leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.
We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in thePhysiotherapydepartment.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
- Assess diagnose and manage patients presenting with a variety of musculoskeletal neurological respiratory orthopaedic or postsurgical conditions (dependent on setting).
- Formulate individualised treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
- Use a range of therapeutic techniques exercise programmes manual therapy and patient education to promote recovery and prevent further injury or deterioration.
- Collaborate closely with consultants nurses occupational therapists and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings ward rounds and discharge planning as appropriate.
- Refer patients to other services where required (e.g. hydrotherapy pain management or community rehabilitation).
- Manage your own caseload efficiently working flexibly across inpatient and/or outpatient settings as required.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- BSc (Hons) or MSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualification).
- HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
- Strong understanding of clinical reasoning assessment techniques and evidencebased practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
