Job Description Summary

Deutsch:
Verantwortung fr die Identifizierung von Gefhrdungen am Arbeitsplatz. Entnahme von Stichproben und Messungen von Gefahrstoffen und Koordinierung der Beseitigung von physikalischen biologischen und chemischen Gefahren. Schulung der Mitarbeiter in Bezug auf Sicherheitsrichtlinien verfahren und vorschriften. Gewhrleistung der Einhaltung aller geltenden Gesundheits Umwelt und Sicherheitsvorschriften auf Bundes und Landesebene und Sicherstellung dass die erforderlichen Aufzeichnungen gem den festgelegten Richtlinien gefhrt und erstellt werden. Nimmt an Kontrollen der Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) teil indem er den Aufsichtsbehrden die entsprechenden Unterlagen zur Verfgung stellt und Sicherheitsmanahmen aufzeigt.


English:
Responsibility for identifying hazards in the workplace. Sampling and measuring hazardous materials and coordinating the removal of physical biological and chemical hazards. Train associates on safety policies procedures and regulations. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state health environmental and safety regulations and ensure that required records are maintained and prepared in accordance with established guidelines. Participates in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections by providing appropriate documentation to regulatory agencies and demonstrating safety measures.

• berwachung und Verteilung von neuen oder aktualisierten Bundes Landes Kommunal und Unternehmensvorschriften.

• Untersttzung bei der Neugestaltung sowie Optimierung von Prozessen Einrichtungen oder Produktlinien.

• Durchfhrung von Untersuchungen und Bewertung der ordnungsgemen Verwendung der Auswahl und der Grenzen der wichtigsten Schutzvorrichtungen.

• Kommunikation und berwachung von Umweltschutzstandards regeln und Unternehmenspraktiken.

• Durchfhrung von Umwelt und Energieaudits

• Frderung von Ausbildungs und Schulungsprogrammen in Bezug auf Umweltfragen.

• Bewertung von Technologien fr die Lagerung Behandlung Verbrennung und Entsorgung von Abfllen.

• Untersttzung des Werksleiters bei der Beantwortung von EPAbezogenen Fragen.

• Ermittlung und Projektierung von Optimierungen im Bereich Umwelt/Energie

English:

• Implementation monitoring and documentation of EHS programs

• Monitor regulatory requirements and policies that address environmental health and safety.

• Monitor and distribute new or updated federal state local and company regulations.

• Supporting the redesign and optimization of processes facilities or product lines.

• Conduct investigations and evaluate the proper use selection and limitations of key safeguards.

• Communicating and monitoring environmental standards rules and company practices.

• Conducting environmental and energy audits

• Promote education and training programs related to environmental issues.

• Evaluating technologies for waste storage treatment incineration and disposal.

• Supporting the plant manager in answering EPArelated questions.

• Identification and planning of environmental/energy optimizations

Required Skills and Education

Deutsch:

• abgeschlossenes Studium der Energie und Umwelttechnik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation

• Berufserfahrung im Bereich Energie und Umweltmanagement idealerweise in der Automobilindustrie

• Ausbildung zur Fachkraft fr Arbeitssicherheit wnschenswert

• Hohes Verantwortungsbewusstsein

• Ausgeprgte Kommunikationsfhigkeit

• Analytische und prozessorientierte Arbeitsweise sowie sehr gute Deutsch und Englischkenntnisse

English:

• Completed studies in energy and environmental technology or comparable qualification

• Professional experience in the area of energy and environmental management ideally in the automotive industry

• Training as an occupational safety specialist preferred

• High sense of responsibility

• Strong communication skills

• Analytical and processoriented way of working as well as very good German and English skills
