Job Description
This is a remote position.
Manage and optimise legacy IDMS environments to ensure operational stability
Design and implement robust migration strategies from IDMS to RDBMS (e.g. Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL)
Build and manage ETL processes to support clean and efficient data migration
Partner with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment of migration activities with overall programme goals
Conduct performance analysis and postmigration tuning
Maintain detailed documentation of all migration processes and architecture decisions

Requirements
Deep practical experience with Integrated Database Management System (IDMS)
Demonstrated success in migrating IDMS environments to relational database platforms
Strong understanding of database architecture data modelling and optimisation techniques
Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g. Python Shell) for process automation
Knowledge of data security compliance and governance standards
Excellent communication skills for technical and stakeholder collaboration
