What does a Financial Analyst do at Hogarth
The Financial Analyst is responsible for financial reporting and analysis for our growing production company.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daytoday general ledger accounting financial reporting and analysis
- Participate in monthend quarterend and yearend close
- Research and prepare variance analysis and explanations
- Prepare journal entries related to assigned functional responsibilities
- Responds to client inquiries
- Provide senior management with necessary financial analysis to improve business KPIs
- Perform ad hoc financial reports
- Analyze foreign currency transactions
Job requirements:
- Bachelors degree with a Finance or Accounting major or equivalent experience
- 3 years of financial analysis experience with a focus on accounting
- Indepth understanding of project based billing in a high volume quick turnaround environment
- Advanced Excel skills
- Resultsdriven process and solutions oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced fluid environment
