We are currently looking for a Senior BI Developer who will design and develop interactive dashboards that provide actionable business insights. The incumbent will work closely with the data team and stakeholders to understand business requirements transforming complex data into easytounderstand visuals that empower decisionmakers across the company. You will also be the lead BI developer helping to drive consistency in utilizing industry best practices and acting as a mentor for the data team and stakeholders. This is a fully onsite opportunity based out of our Mississauga ON office location and reports to our Analytics Manager.

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;
- Leading BI solution development for the Analytics team and ensure data accuracy integrity and security in all BI solutions
- Developing and maintain Power BI reports dashboards and semantic models for key business areas using Power BI
- Performing detailed analysis on tested and deployed Power BI report and scripts and utilize them
- Continuously optimizing Power BI solutions to enhance performance and usability
- Collaborating with various teams to ensure data is integrated seamlessly from multiple sources
- Leading and participating in System Integration Testing with architects and developers while also supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by resolving defects promptly during the process
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and innovations to deliver cuttingedge solutions
- Conducting user training to maximize adoption and empower teams to use selfserve analytics
- Logging defects/issues in Azure DevOps and follow up with the development team
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and transform data into engaging userfriendly reports
- Collaborating closely with the other members of the Business Intelligence and Analytics team and provide training and mentorship to junior BI developers on the team.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;
- Minimum of 7 years experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports with strong visual design and data storytelling skills
- Deep understanding of data visualization best practices influenced by leaders like Stephen Few and Edward Tufte to create clear and actionable insights
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Proficiency in DAX SQL data modeling rowlevel security (RLS) and objectlevel security (OLS)
- Strong analytical skills able to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Bilingual proficiency in spoken and written French is an asset
- Experience in data transformation integration (cloudbased solutions) and the Microsoft Fabric stack (e.g. Azure Data Lake Data Factory Azure Synapse Synapse Data Warehouse) a plus
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and applied experience with datarelated projects
- Consulting or manufacturing industry experience is a plus providing insights into operational challenges and customercentric solutions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with both business and technical teams
- Selfmotivated adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
- A team player leader and initiator with the ability to manage complex tasks and priorities
- Bilingual proficiency in spoken and written French is an asset
- Bachelors degree in business IT or Computer Science
