Job Description
St Peters Early Learning Centre is a Catholic Coeducational Early Learning Environment situated at the Parish of St Peters Toorak. We strive to provide a sense of belonging respecting the children as competent and capable learners seeing each child as a balanced child with a strong sense of identity.
The Opportunity
Are you a passionate and qualified early childhood teacher looking to make a meaningful impact Were seeking a dedicated educator to join our warm and supportive team on a fixed term parttime basis (0.6 FTE). The role will commence in June 2025 until the end of the year working Wednesday Thursday and Friday.
Reporting to the Head of St Peters Early Learning Centre the role will support and enhance development and learning of both 34 and 45 year olds through the implementation of the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood.

About you
Your have relevant and recent experience teaching in an ELC setting together with the following:
- Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education or current Teaching qualification as approved by the Australian Childrens Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- A knowledge and understanding of the Reggio Emilia Educational Framework (desirable)
- Excellent communication organization and time management skills with experience in Leadership
- Knowledge of competency and compliance requirements
- Current First Aid Certificate; Asthma Anaphylaxis CPR training
