Community Solutions is seeking candidates that are committed in completing a 3year Skilled Construction Worker Road Construction and Maintenance Traineeship (Certificate III in Civil Construction). The successful candidate must have strong knowledge and passion for the industry labour experience and the ability to work various hours.

- Be able to work a day and night roster (9day fortnight for day roster & 4night roster with longer hours for night roster)

- will have aspirations to work in the civil construction industry
The Traineeship will involve but not limited to:
- Learning to read plans and overviews and follow and implement as directed
- Carry out measurements and calculations
- Maintenance and repair on all types of roads
- Operate small plant and equipment
- Implementation of traffic management plans
- The work is outdoors in most weather conditions day or night
Essential Requirements:
- Construction Industry White Card required before working on site
- Drivers license
- Year 12 completion is highly regarded
- Ability to provide two work or school related references
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo a preemployment medical with drug and alcohol testing.

Community Solutions is a nonforprofit organisation operating as a commercial business providing apprentices and trainees to a variety of different businesses throughout Queensland. We provide apprentices and trainees important career guidance and opportunity to earn while they learn. Dedicated Field Officers are assigned to apprentices and trainees to provide ongoing support to completing their chosen trade qualification.
