About the Role:

The Kids Hub based at our Child Youth and Family Advocacy Centre in Midland is an innovative and exciting mental health and wellbeing service designed to support children aged 012 years and their families with mild to moderate mental health challenges. As the first of its kind in Western Australia The Kids Hub delivered in partnership with Koya Aboriginal Corporation Lifespan Psychology Pregnancy to Parenthood and MIFWA is committed to providing highquality outcomesbased services to children and their families.

We now are searching for a Practice Lead to be part of the Early Intervention Prevention and Youth Services Team. You will have responsibility for supporting a multidiscipline therapeutic team by providing case consultation and leading case management meetings reviewing client case plans and that client outcomes are met. Providing supervision and on the job skills mentoring and coaching. There is an outreach community engagement component of the role.

This senior therapeutic role is offered on a Permanent Fulltime basis with evening and weekend work scheduled as required.

If you would be keen to join us we are now seeking a passionate and committed professional to join our team who can:

  • Lead and provide therapeutic guidance within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Implement and uphold trauma and family domestic violence informed approaches in all interactions and treatments.
  • Ensure the qualityofservice delivery is consistently high and aligns with best practices in mental health and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to create comprehensive and individualized care plans.
  • Advocate for the mental health and wellbeing needs of children and their families within the community.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant tertiary/bachelors qualification in Social Work Counselling Psychology or Social Science or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children impacted by mild to moderate mental health issues.
  • Proven experience in providing therapeutic services to children and families.
  • Expertise in trauma and family domestic violence informed approaches.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and continuous professional development.
