Responsibilities
We are looking for nurses to join our highly specialized wound care and hyperbaric medicine team! You will be involved in the assessment and treatment of a variety of wound types including pressure injuries diabetic foot ulcers venous stasis ulcers arterial ulcers nonhealing surgical wounds and more. You will provide care for both preoperative and postoperative ostomy patients including site marking postop assessment patient education and ongoing care as needed.
This is a unique opportunity to provide care in both the inpatient and outpatient care settings! Our wound care clinic is onsite at Clovis Community meaning you will consistently benefit from the proximity and resources available from a hospital setting. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary physicians including plastic surgery orthopedics podiatry internal medicine vascular surgery OB/GYN and more! Our wound care physicians have additional training and expertise and bring a high level of clinical care to our patient population.

Qualifications
- Graduate of approved nursing program required
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
- Consistent demonstration of Novice/Advanced Beginner clinical nursing practice proficiency required
- RN Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
- BLS Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Wound Care Certification Preferred must obtain within 1 year of hire. Department will provide opportunities to assist in obtaining.
- Ostomy Certification Preferred must obtain within 1 year of hire. Department will provide opportunities to assist in obtaining.
