The Branch Manager is a highly motivated individual who is passionate about business improvement with proven management experience in developing and maintaining a cohesive team. The Branch Manager is expected to meet the established goals for growth and financial performance by performing the following duties personally or through success of the team.
Description
Coach direct and motivate team members.
Interview hire and develop team members for formalized succession.
Evaluate team members and complete performance reviews in timely manner.
Initiate any necessary documentation for disciplinary and termination procedures.
Resolve customer conflicts and complaints and address emergencies with a sense of urgency.
Routinely plan and provide estimate installation jobs.
Proactively identify analyze and correct operational problems.
Accurately forecast business activity and maintain branch operating budget.
Collaborate with business development on local sales effort; participate in relevant local trade associations.
Efficiently process and maintain branch related financial transactions.
File appropriate financial transaction records including billing warranty and credits with corporate office against deadlines.
Implement any operational procedures as determined by executive leadership.
Oversee inventory management to include: truck stock quarterly maintain inventory at optimum levels.
Oversee fleet management and communicate additional requests with corporate.
Perform other duties as required
Required Education Experience
An AA/AS degree in a business related discipline or the equivalent in experience or higher.
7 years experience working in a related field service industry. Repair plumbing telecommunications experience a plus
3 years of management and or supervisory experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Completion of satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
Valid Drivers License and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning resource allocation human resource planning leadership development and coordination of people and resources.
Excellent customer service skills
Demonstrated ability to resolve complaints & conflict and negotiate win win solutions.
Ability to supervise and direct the work of others.
Proficient computer skills in MS Office including Outlook Word and Excel.
Intermediate math skills including addition subtraction multiplication division and percentages.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks and decisions in a highpressure environment.
Work Environment:
Warehouse and office environment.
Extensive phone use.
Daily travel within local branch area as well as travel outside area.
25% computer time including keyboarding and mouse.
Lifting and transporting moderately heavy items as required.
Operational oversight of 24/7 service operation
