Job Description

Job Summary

The Sr. Manager People & Culture role is a strategic member of the company People & Culture (P&C) team. This role is the onsite business partner for our Fan Engagement Center (FEC) and KAB (KEEN American Built). The Sr. Manager P&C partners closely with local leadership at the FEC and leads the local P&C team. This role is responsible for identifying and executing P&C strategies and initiatives providing fullcycle P&C support and driving employee engagement while ensuring a positive workplace culture.

Description

  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership and department heads to understand business goals challenges and P&C needs.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for P&C to add value to business operations and contribute to achieving organizational objectives.
  • Builds strong relationships with stakeholders across different functions to provide strategic P&C support and solutions.
  • Develops and implements P&C strategies policies and programs tailored to meet the specific needs of the FEC and KAB
  • Leads initiatives related to talent acquisition performance management employee relations training and development to support organizational growth and efficiency.
  • Drives workforce planning efforts to ensure staffing levels meet operational requirements and support longterm business goals.
  • Champions a positive and inclusive workplace culture by promoting diversity equity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Implements strategies to enhance employee engagement retention and productivity including employee recognition programs wellness initiatives and career development opportunities.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to employees and managers providing guidance and support on P&Crelated matters and fostering open communication channels.
  • Ensures compliance with local labor laws regulations and company policies.
  • Mitigates P&Crelated risks by conducting regular audits implementing corrective actions and providing training to managers and employees on relevant compliance topics.
  • Analyzes P&C data and trends to identify areas for improvement and make datadriven recommendations to senior leadership

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of local state and federal employment laws.
  • Working knowledge of HR disciplines including benefits compensation recruitment employee relations HRIS and training as well as related practices laws and regulations.
  • Ability to engage all members of the workforce and build trust and credibility with employees and management; ability to influence at varying levels throughout the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to employ a strategic approach to all aspects of human resources.
  • Ability to solve problems with high energy and a positive attitude. Extensive experience in conflict management coaching and giving/receiving feedback.
  • Experience working in a multistate organization with multiple business units preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational followup and customer service skills as well as proven decisionmaking expertise.
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate discretion and maintain confidentiality with employees at all levels.
  • Comfortable presenting to small and large groups.
  • Proficiency with MS Office software including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HRIS/HRMS. Willingness to learn additional software applications as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent in related field; HR Certification preferred.
  • Minimum eight (8) years experience in Human Resources with an emphasis on employee relations training and development.
  • Experience in a distribution center preferred.

Travel required up to 10% of the time.

Base Salary: $117000 $125000
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience knowledge and skills and location.
