Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse to join our clinical team. In this role you will provide expert assessment planning and delivery of care for patients with acute and chronic wounds. Your clinical expertise will play a critical role in improving patient outcomes and enhancing the quality of care in our community.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with various wound types including pressure ulcers diabetic foot ulcers and surgical wounds.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans based on evidence-based practices and patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and effective treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families about wound care management and preventive measures.
- Monitor wound healing progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of wound care protocols
