Trinity Ridge a proud member of the Lutheran Services Carolinas community is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team.

Position: Fulltime housekeeper

Pay and Benefits:

  • Pay rate: discussed upon interview
  • Scheduled Days/ hours:1st shift Monday through Friday w/Every other weekend required
  • Daily Pay available access earned pay on a daily basis prior to normal payday
  • Benefits start after 30 days of employment including insurance and PTO
  • Additional Pay: $3.00 extra per hour in lieu of benefits

Position Purpose/Summary:

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility to ensure it is safe clean and presentable. This role is crucial in meeting our high standards of hygiene and environmental care.

Essential Functions:

  • Dust all areas and items as assigned
  • Dry mop all areas
  • Empty and clean trashcans replace liners
  • Clean all bathroom fixtures
  • Clean all walls as directed
  • Clean chrome fixtures as directed
  • Remove and properly dispose of all floor debris
  • Report needed repairs or light bulb replacements
  • Maintain a safe environment and report hazards
  • Report accidents or incidents immediately
  • Understand and use emergency equipment as necessary
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Interact cordially with residents peers and others
  • Participate in educational programs as required
  • Uphold LSCs mission vision values and customer service standards
  • Complete other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: Ability to read write and understand instructions
  • Experience: Familiarity with cleaning/housekeeping concepts and standards
  • Specific skills/abilities: Good visual acuity and effective communication
  • Ability to work independently without supervision

Preferences (Optional):

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Previous environmental/housekeeping experience preferred

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • Good visual acuity and ability to communicate
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly
  • Ability to climb small step ladders stoop and bend at the waist repeatedly
  • Occasional outdoor exposure
  • Possible exposure to blood and body fluids
  • Exposure to cleaning solvents and chemicals
