What You Can Expect:
- Worklife balance: Enjoy weekends off PRN (oncall) working hours MondayFriday day shift.
Hours and Location:
- This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- We are located at 111 Veterans Blvd. Ste. 406 Metairie LA 70005

As a PRN Staff Pharmacist on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell youll contribute to a communitys wellbeing act as a trusted advisor to patients and ensure pharmacy operations are efficient effective and continually improving while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management.
- Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy confidentiality and diligence
- Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients
- Embrace a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and a drive for continual improvement learning and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy teams development
- Stay informed of regulations retail pharmacy best practices and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune Oncology Hepatitis C HIV and more

What Youll Bring:
Basic Qualifications
- Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination
- Pharmacist license current and in good standing for the State of LA
- Maintain any continuing education requirements
- One year of experience in the practice of pharmacy
Preferred Qualifications
- Three years of experience in the practice of pharmacy
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Flexibility ability to work as On Call basis.
- Ability to work at this pharmacy sites location and pharmacy operational hours.
- This position is moderately active and requires standing walking and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
- Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes
