Job Description
Qualifications:
- Must hold or be eligible for a Virginia license with eitherElementary Education PreK6 or MiddleEducation endorsement.
- Hold or pursuing a Virginia Postgraduate Professional license (Masters Degree) or equivalent from another state. Preference given to those with Masters degrees in Reading Math or Curriculum/Instruction.
- Must have 5 years of successful experience as a classroom teacher. Preference given to those with grade 68 experience and to those with experience in instructional coaching at the middle school level.
- Candidates with National Board Certification and/or endorsements on the Virginia license in Teacher Leader or Mentor may be considered in lieu of certain experience requirements.
Pay Rate:
Teacher Salary Scale (credit is based on years of fulltime experience in a related position)
Contract:
Full time / 10 months / 200 days
Start Date:
This position is effectivefor theschool year. Applicants for theschool year will also be considered.
