Are you passionate about nurturing the development of infants and toddlers Do you believe in creating meaningful early learning experiences that prepare young children for lifelong success Central Missouri Community Action (CMCA) is seeking dedicated Infant/Toddler Teachers to join our Early Head Start program and make a difference where it matters mostat the very beginning.

Pay: $15.13 to $16.21 based on qualifications.

Location: Columbia MO

What Youll Do:
As an Infant/Toddler Teacher youll implement a highquality curriculum for children under age three creating a safe engaging and supportive classroom environment. Youll work with a passionate team to support school readiness socialemotional growth and family engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans using the High Scope curriculum

  • Foster school readiness and developmental growth through engaging ageappropriate activities

  • Ensure a safe clean and nurturing classroom environment

  • Collaborate with families through home visits and conferences

  • Observe and assess each childs development and tailor activities to meet their needs

  • Promote healthy habits nutrition and positive peer relationships

  • Support children with individual education plans (IEPs) as needed

What You Bring:

  • Infant/Toddler CDA or higher (Early Childhood or related degree preferred)

  • At least one year of experience working with infants and toddlers

  • Familiarity with developmentally appropriate practices

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A passion for making a lasting difference in the lives of young children

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Missouri drivers license and reliable transportation

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. and meet physical demands of interacting with young children
