Job Description

Minnesota state LGSW LICSW preferred. Masters degree in Social Work required. Knowledge of Community Resources. Experience providing crisis intervention. Two years experience with counseling in a health care related setting or two years experience in a pediatric related setting or completion of graduate internship in either of the above settings. This position will bill for services.

When determining individual pay rates we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role the skills education training credentials and experience of the candidate internal equity and organizational needs.

In addition to your salary this position may be eligible for medical dental vision retirement and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night weekend or oncall work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.

Department Overview
The Social Work department provides emotional support and counseling to children and their families. They provide crisis intervention services help with adjustment issues grief and loss counseling mental health assessments case coordination community advocate support and shortterm therapeutic interventions.

We are hiring a Full Time Clinical Social Worker to join our Childrens MN Social Work Department Minneapolis Campus. This Social Worker will provide clinical care and services within our Emergency Department as well as our Inpatient areas including completing crisis mental health assessments responding to needs throughout our Emergency Department and providing Telehealth support. This role will partner with our broader SW team as we respond to needs across our campus. Our dedicated and resourceful teams are rooted in health equity and trauma informed care serving a vast range of families from our community and the greater MN area.

Position Summary

To provide clinical assessment therapeutic intervention and resource mobilization for families and children who have complex psychosocial and emotional needs in a multidisciplinary pediatric hospital clinic and homecare setting. Pediatric social workers provide these services to children 018 years of age and their families.
