How would you build the next generation of mission critical systems and services that power the ability to send store and manage billions of products across the globe on behalf of our selling partners
Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is the Amazon service for world-wide sellers that offers access to Amazons vast distribution network as a service. Similar to how AWS provides infrastructure as a service FBA allows sellers to only pay for what they use creating a seamless experience to leverage our world-class infrastructure. As a leader within FBA you will provide both strategic and tactical oversight to build the features and functionality required to have the best in class offering for sellers. This leader will create mechanisms to drive optimal seller behavior for FBA inventory management reducing total supply chain costs and making it easier for sellers to get their inventory close to customers delivering more items with a Prime delivery promise. This leader will invent new ways to deliver value for sellers and their products while leveraging the scale and innovation of technology from across the Amazon family including AWS.

This is a highly visible role that requires partnering with 3P Seller business teams Seller Services Operations and Finance teams to impact both Amazons top and bottom line. As a member of the FBA Inventory team you will play a key role in shaping Amazons FBA business with the following product management and leadership responsibilities:
Collaborate with scientists engineers product managers as well as operations user experience and seller support to create product vision and roadmap for tools used by third party sellers.
Own Seller facing and internal tools that improve user experience and deliver on input improvement goals.
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager-Tech who is highly analytical resourceful customer-focused and team-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills to drive decisions at the senior executive level. A successful candidate should thrive in a collaborative creative and fast-paced environment with a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results.
- Bachelors degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience technical product management
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies business analysis or process improvement
- Experience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
