A Learning Community
The Robotics Program
Robotics is a yearround program that allows students to explore STEAM through real world challenges. The program is student focused and allows students to work with professional engineers as mentors who support student hands on learning. The team participates in the FIRST Robotics Competition where they collaborate to design build and program a functional robot.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with CoDirector Robotics Student Program to support student engagement experiences in Robotics
- Work with students to secure sponsorships and grants through FIRST and other agencies
- Facilitate logistics alongside students and team parents for a variety of robotics events
- Recruit and provide guidance to parent volunteers
- Administration of FIRST program requirements
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree preferred in Engineering or related STEM field
- Familiarity with FIRST Robotics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three to five years of experience working with high school students in Robotics or related field
- Demonstrated leadership capacity
