Our Portland office is seeking an experienced Project Architect to become a key member of our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and collaboration abilities along with knowledge in K12 educational architecture. We are looking for a motivated team player who is organized detailoriented designfocused and capable of delivering highquality work while meeting deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Role accountabilities:
- Assists in the preparation of Architectural designs and drawings including preliminary concepts and sketches
- Assists with preliminary analysis of codes and other regulatory requirements
- Assists in the preparation of permit submission packages
- Assists with basic coordination of consultant activity
- Assists with preparation and revision of construction drawings
- Research building products for value and efficiency
- Assists with the review of working drawings prepared by inhouse staff or outside consultants
- Prepares revisions to existing working drawings and other documents prepared by staff and/or outside consultants
- Administers and maintains all project files and drawings
- Assists with the preparation of presentations graphics
- May participate in client presentations
- May participate in marketing and business development efforts
Qualifications & Experience:
Required
- Bachelor/Master of Architecture from an NCARB accredited institution
- Recent graduate or up to 3 years experience in an Architectural Design firm
- Strong technical competency proficient in Revit and SketchUp
- Please include a portfolio with your application materials
Preferred
- Knowledge of Educational Architecture specifically K12 preferred

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $49390 $79023 / year.
Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
