What YOU will do:

  • You will lead the development of system test strategies and manage comprehensive certification activities to ensure cuttingedge systems meet rigorous safety and performance standards.
  • You will oversee major certification events setting the standard for excellence and compliance in everything from initial design reviews to final approvals.
  • You will architect solutions that are not only innovative but also align with stringent certification processes ensuring they lead the market in both technology and safety.
  • You will maintain operational oversight of testing resources ensuring your projects are wellequipped and run smoothly.
  • You will be the primary point of contact for all queries related to certification offering expert guidance and solutions to both team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in avionics systems engineering particularly in safetycritical system development (e.g. DO178C DO254 or ARP4754A/B).
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a team environment adapting to changes while maintaining focus on goals.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with complex electronic devices such as FPGA and ASIC at the system and subsystem levels.
  • Familiarity with Collins Management System and tools for project management and bid preparation.
  • Proven track record of developing automated testing procedures and working with embedded hardware and software.

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
