Floor Janitor
JBS is seeking an hourlyFloor Janitor 2nd Shift Team Member! Position starts at $18 per hour with a $1 shift differential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- To clean and sanitize machinery and floors in a production line setting
- Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around assigned area
- Set up stocks and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies
- Monitor and maintain sanitation and organization of assigned areas
- Operate heavy equipment
- Stay aware of your surroundings and notify a supervisor if you recognize a hazard
- Perform other duties as needed or as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification
- Ability to speak read and write English
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Must be wellorganized with good attention to detail
- Display strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work cooperation with others
- Must maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions and to deal with problems involving a few different variables.
- Strong desire to work handson work environment
- Good attendance and safety records
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Work Environment
- Must be able to work in a cold damp environment
- Production and maintenance settings
- Exposure to various chemicals machinery and knives
- Very active position requiring standing walking bending kneeling stooping crouching and crawling.
- Must be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
- Must be able to frequently and regularly use wrists hands and or fingers.
- Acute close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds throughout the day with a partner.
- Must be able to work for long hours in a nokill food processing environment where it is wet damp and cold. Employees are expected to remain in these conditions for most of their workdays.
