Job Description

Kindergarten LongTerm Substitute Teacher (Maternity Leave Coverage August 21 October 15)We are seeking a certified Early Childhood/Elementary Teacher to cover a kindergarten maternity leave. This wellsupported classroom has established routines and a thoughtfully organized learning environment that promotes academic and playbased Support & Environment:The classroom is arranged into multiple centers to maximize learning and exploration.A dedicated paraprofessional will remain in the classroom to provide continuity assist with instruction and support classroom substitute teacher will have the opportunity to collaborate with the teacher on leave and benefit from a strong support system within the :Deliver daily instruction aligned with the kindergarten the following programs:Heggerty Phonemic AwarenessFundations PhonicsMaking Meaning (ELA)Bridges MathMystery ScienceSecond Step (SocialEmotional Learning)Attend weekly team meetings with the kindergarten team and in a PLC (Professional Learning Community) block with the academic classroom routines expectations and a positive learning :Valid Early Childhood or Elementary teaching certification with or willingness to learn the listed curriculum communication skills and a collaborative to foster a nurturing and structured environment for young you are a caring reliable and enthusiastic educator looking to step into a wellsupported kindergarten classroom we encourage you to apply!
