Were looking for Software Engineers and Associate Software Engineers to join the Al Platform Core Components team. The AI Platform team helps power Red Hats enterprise Al products like RHEL Al and OpenShift Al through our highperforming and secure Albuilding platform. This role offers opportunities to work on critical components of our AI platform with a focus on the deep integration of the AI stack with hardware accelerators from leading vendors.
Ideally applicants should be located in the Boston MA or Raleigh NC area. However we are open to considering candidates for remote work opportunities depending on the specific role and required technical skills.
What you will do
Contribute to the development and implementation of software for RHEL AI to leverage the power of hardware accelerators
Contribute to packaging and distribution efforts including converting Python wheels to RPMs
Contribute to product quality for our product set by looking to continuously improve process and coding standards
Work closely with teams within AI Engineering where collaboration opportunities present themselves
Learn and help implement the architectural concepts that are key to the development of our product set
What you will bring
2 years of experience as a software developer software engineer or similar roles
Experience in developing applications in Go or Python
Experience in Kubernetes OpenShift Docker or other cloudnative technologies
Experience in PyTorch
Experience in agile development CI/CD Jira and Git
Ability to quickly learn and use new tools and technologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with package management and distribution including converting Python wheels to RPMs is a plus

The salary range for this position is $86640.00 $173800.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location experience applicable skills and training external market value and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hats compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus commission and/or equity. For positions with RemoteUS locations the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
