We are seeking an innovative and detailoriented Electrical Designer to join our engineering team. In this role you will leverage your power and lighting design experience and technical expertise to create comprehensive electrical designs for a variety of projects. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that designs meet both functional and compliance standards.

Responsibilities
Develop and produce drawings for buildings lighting power and electrical distribution systems
Perform lighting and power engineering calculations
Design electrical systems in accordance with local state and federal regulations
Collaborate with project managers architects and other engineering disciplines
Support the procurement process by evaluating and specifying materials and equipment
Adhere to project schedules budgets and scope of work
Maintain a positive and professional work environment
Qualifications
Vocational Certificate or Associates degree in Engineering Design or Drafting
3 years of electrical design experience in the architectural/built environment
Proficiency in Revit and MS Office
Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g. NEC IBC IECC)
Capable of performing calculations and analyses to support design decisions
Education Requirements
Vocational Certificate or Associates degree in Engineering Design or Drafting
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred

Experience Requirements
3 years of electrical design experience in the architectural/built environment

4. Have you perform lighting and power engineering calculations and analyses to support design decisions.
5. Do you have expertise in electrical distribution systems power design and lighting design.
6. Do you have knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g. NEC IBC IECC).
7. Do you have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. preferred
8. Do you have Professional Engineer (PE) license or working towards licensure. preferred
9. Do you have proficiency in electrical analysis software (e.g. SKM PowerTools). preferred
10. Do you have competency in AutoCAD preferred
11. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
