Responsibilities
- Develop and produce drawings for buildings lighting power and electrical distribution systems
- Perform lighting and power engineering calculations
- Design electrical systems in accordance with local state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with project managers architects and other engineering disciplines
- Support the procurement process by evaluating materials and equipment
- Adhere to project schedules budgets and scope of work
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment
Qualifications
- Vocational Certificate or Associates degree in Engineering Design or Drafting
- 3 years of electrical design experience in the architectural/built environment
- Proficiency in Revit and MS Office
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g. NEC IBC IECC)
- Capable of performing calculations and analyses to support design decisions
