Job Description
URM Stores is currently looking for driven detailoriented Senior Accounting Manager to join our enthusiastic corporate accounting team. Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller youll take the lead on essential functions like monthly close financial reporting accounts payable/receivable system improvements and audit coordination. Youll also play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our accounting processes as we continue to modernize and fully leverage the power of NetSuite ERP.

As Senior Accounting Manager at URM Stores you wont just oversee accountingyoull be a key player in shaping how we operate grow and innovate. Your leadership will help modernize processes empower teams and drive financial excellence. Heres how youll make a real impact:
- Collaborate with the Controller and Assistant Controller to implement forwardthinking accounting practices systems and tools that support smart fast and strategic decisionmaking.
- Take a lead role in the monthly close process helping deliver timely accurate financial statements detailed internal reports and compelling board presentations.
- Help lead and oversee daytoday accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable ensuring accuracy consistency and optimal efficiency across all functions.
- Champion process improvements and crossfunctional initiatives to streamline operations enhance data flow and elevate efficiency across departments.
- Lead mentor and develop your team building a culture of accountability continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Modernize and streamline accounting workflows transitioning from paperbased systems to fully digital electronic processes.
- Be a key contributor in our NetSuite ERP rollout helping optimize systems and scale operations for the future.
- Analyze and troubleshoot variances diving into the numbers to ensure clarity and control.
- Prepare and review complex journal entries and account reconciliations to keep our general ledger accurate and auditready.
- Work directly with external auditors during the yearend audit process ensuring a smooth welldocumented experience from start to finish.
- Help drive the budgeting process supporting longterm planning and monthly forecasting to align with business goals.
- Assist in preparing compliance documentation for federal and state tax filings and other regulatory requirements.
What Were Looking For: Youre a dynamic leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution. You bring a proactive mindset a passion for process improvement and a talent for mentoring teams. Youre comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get into the detailswhile keeping the big picture in sharp focus:
- A Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
- Experience in a midtolarge organization ($100M in annual revenue)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel
- Handson experience with ERP systemsNetSuite experience is a big plus
- A solid command of GAAP and a proven ability to prepare complete accurate financial statements
- Strong expertise in budgeting forecasting and financial analysis
- Exceptional communication leadership and problemsolving skills
Even better if you also have:
- CPA or CMA certification (strongly preferred)
- Experience with ERP implementations or migrationsespecially NetSuite
- Familiarity with corporate tax filings and audit processes
- Knowledge of treasury management systems

Salary starting at $85000 annually DOE plus so much more!
