Job Description
Performs routine laboratory tests in various sections of the laboratory.
Reports to: Laboratory Supervisor
Graduate of a Program in Discipline (Medical Lab Technician) Required
Associates degree in a Medical Laboratory Science program Preferred.
50 weeks US military medical lab training course and minimum of 2 years of experience is accepted.
Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
Licenses: ASCP certification or AMT or State of Tennessee MLT license or obtained within first year of employment
6 months experience as a Medical Lab Technician Preferred
