This role will support production development/prototype assemblies and products within the Advanced Product Center (APC) at the McKinney TX site. The selected candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing / production environment.

*This is a 2nd shift position and an onsite role in McKinney Texas.*

What You Will Do

• Duties may include assembly disassembly reassembly fabrication repair and/or inspection of electronic electrical and mechanical systems.

• May set up and operate a variety of machine and hand instruments. May route dispatch and expedite flow of material.

• Checks for work correctness. Specific duties will include material preparation and the assembly and rework of electronic and mechanical assemblies.

• Perform wire/cable preparation installation crimping and torquing using hand instruments.

• All work is performed in accordance with written work instructions to prescribed standards.

• Ability to work with production resources and teammates to meet production goals.

• Perform repetitive tasks in accordance with an established demonstrated process.

• Perform inprocess inspections in accordance with company standards and customer specifications.

• Develop more than one job at a time and have the flexibility to work across shifts.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

• Experience in performing product assemblies by utilizing procedures manuals schematics engineering drawings verbal instructions and/or other related documentation under limited supervision.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Excellent hand/finger dexterity and extreme attention to detail

• Basic computer and math skills.

• Experience with the use of common hand instruments (screwdrivers sockets ratchets torque tools and analyzers etc.

• Experience with VM CMES SAP or other manufacturing automation databases and tools

• Related experience working in a Manufacturing Assembly Aviation or Naval Environment with hands on technical experience in repair installation and inspection.
