We reach more than 73000 individuals and families including almost 13000 serves a diverse cross section of New Yorkers from new mothers in Brownsville to job seekers in the Rockaways. More than half of our clients are immigrants and refugees from around the globe. Over 85% of our families are in living in poverty reflecting the challenges faced by nearly 1.7 million New Yorkers today.
Transitional Congregate Housing Program 1: CAMBAs Transitional Congregate Housing program started in 2007 and provides nine transitional units for the HIV/AIDS Services Administration (HASA) Emergency Placement Unit which are for single men and/or women only. Each individual has their own locked room and COBRA (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act) is available to provide case management services. The programs goal is to ready individuals for permanent housing placement through stabilization and selfsufficiency. : Emergency Transitional Congregate Housing Program 2: CAMBAs Emergency Transitional Congregate Housing program provides ten units of emergency transitional congregate housing for single men and women who are HIV/AIDS Services Administration (HASA) clients. HASA is the sole referral source for this housing. Each individual has their own lockable room but shares common space such as the bathrooms living room and kitchen. Clients receive case management and residential/operational services such as meals and assistance when they move to permanent housing. Case management support is an integral part of achieving the programs goal of helping clients to attain selfsufficiency. This includes but is not limited to ensuring that clients are connected to and maintain primary health care; assisting them to find and secure permanent housing; and exploring and starting the process of returning to the workforce. A client stay is limited to six months. However extensions can be granted by HASA.

Compensation: $18.55 hourly
When salary ranges are listed the range would represent the low and high end for the applicable position & program. The salary offered would be based on various factors unique to each program and includes but is not limited to experience education budget and/or program size internal equity skills and other factors that may be required for the position and organization.
Status: Fulltime (35 hours per week) (TuesFri 4PM12AM Sat 8AM4PM & MonFri 12AM8AM)
