Purpose of the Role
As a Civil/Structural Inspector at Worley you will be instrumental in ensuring the integrity quality and compliance of materials and construction practices on our projects. Your role supports Worleys commitment to delivering sustainable change by safeguarding the standards that enable safe efficient and forwardlooking engineering solutions. Through your work you will directly contribute to Worleys ambition of leading the energy chemicals and resources sectors toward a more sustainable future ensuring projects meet critical requirements while helping to reduce environmental impact and improve asset longevity.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of civil and structural materials and workmanship to ensure full compliance with engineering specifications applicable industry codes and quality standards throughout all project phases.
- Collaborate with senior quality professionals to solve complex challenges supporting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement aligned with Worleys purpose of delivering a more sustainable world.
- Apply sound judgment in organizing and prioritizing inspection activities ensuring alignment with company policies client expectations and project goals.
- Monitor work execution for adherence to design and quality standards actively contributing to the safe and successful delivery of infrastructure and energy projects.
- Review documentation verify test results and support reporting processes that maintain transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Engage in structured learning and development opportunities to deepen knowledge of quality standards inspection methodologies and sustainabilityrelated best practices.
- Provide mentorship and informal guidance to peers when appropriate contributing to a collaborative and knowledgeable project team environment.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders presenting findings clearly and constructively while supporting crossfunctional collaboration.
- Utilize inspection tools and digital systems proficiently to ensure accurate data collection compliance tracking and continuous quality assurance.
- Support Worleys strategic shift towards sustainability by ensuring that project execution reflects our commitment to responsible resource use safety and performance excellence.

Qualifications / Skillset
- Completion of technical school or an equivalent blend of education training and handson experience in civil or structural inspection engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in quality control within the energy chemicals or infrastructure sectors with a comprehensive understanding of applicable regulatory codes and industry standards.
- Proficient in the use of quality inspection tools digital reporting platforms and project documentation systems.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make informed decisions and problemsolve in a dynamic project environment.
- Comfortable working independently while also contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary project team.
- Skilled communicator with the ability to engage with a diverse range of technical and nontechnical stakeholders ensuring alignment and mutual understanding.
- Understanding of project systems processes and tools necessary to deliver consistent quality outcomes aligned with Worleys sustainability and safety commitments.
- Demonstrated adaptability and a proactive mindset with the willingness to support and lead others to improve overall team performance.
- Passionate about contributing to sustainable project outcomes and eager to support Worleys mission of delivering meaningful longterm change across industries and communities.
