Job Description
We are searching for an organized individual with experience in the electric motor and pump industry to lead a repair shop in Texas. This company is located just south of Austin and is rapidly growing!
Overview:
Manage daily operations of an electric motor and pump repair shop ensuring efficiency quality and customer satisfaction. Lead a team of technicians oversee inventory and financial performance and maintain safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Streamline repair processes track work orders and ensure timely project completion.
- Team Leadership: Train supervise and schedule technicians while fostering a productive work environment.
- Customer Relations: Act as the primary contact for clients providing technical guidance estimates and service plans.
- Inventory & Procurement: Manage parts and materials maintain optimal stock levels and negotiate with suppliers.
- Quality & Safety Compliance: Implement quality control measures and ensure OSHA and industrystandard compliance.
- Financial Oversight: Control repair costs monitor profitability and assist with invoicing and billing.
- Continuous Improvement: Optimize shop performance adopt new technologies and implement efficiency improvements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years in electric motor and pump repair with 2 years in leadership roles.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of AC/DC motors centrifugal pumps and submersible pumps.
- Leadership & Communication: Ability to train motivate teams and interact effectively with customers.
- ProblemSolving & Organization: Strong troubleshooting and time management skills.
Preferred:
- Certifications: NEMA IEC or related industrial electrical certifications.
- Automation Knowledge: Experience with automation systems in motor and pump operations.
