Job Description
Point 9 Trailside Eatery opens this June right off the Redbud Trailand were looking for experienced Prep Cooks to help us create exceptional food for every guest!
As a Prep Cook you will be responsible for supporting kitchen operations by preparing and staging ingredients for our full menu. This includes washing chopping portioning preparing and labeling ingredients as well as assisting chefs with various tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail the ability to follow instructions and a strong ability to work independently.

Como Cocinero de Preparacin sers responsable de apoyar las operaciones de la cocina preparando e organizando los ingredientes para nuestro men completo. El candidato ideal tendr una gran atencin al detalle la capacidad de seguir instrucciones y una fuerte capacidad para trabajar de manera independiente.
Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients through processes such as washing peeling slicing and chopping
Follow recipes to accurately prepare sauces spreads and other cold items
Measure and portion ingredients according to recipes and prep lists
Label date and properly store prepped items in accordance with food safety standards
Restock stations and supplies as needed throughout the shift
Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and respond quickly to requests for help
Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years of age
Previous experience is preferred but not required
Ability to follow recipes and prep lists exactly
Ability to follow directions and work independently or collaboratively
Attention to detail and ability to maintain a fast pace of work
Willingness to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
Reliable punctual and able to work as part of a team
