Job Description

Are you a forwardthinking problem solver with a passion for streamlining systems and enhancing operational efficiency through automation and integration We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Automation and Integration Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to lead strategic automation initiatives modernize workflows and enable seamless system integration across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design develop and implement automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual workloads.
  • Lead the integration of enterprise systems applications and APIs to ensure data consistency system reliability and process continuity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements identify pain points and deliver tailored automation and integration solutions.
  • Develop and maintain scripts workflows and automation tools using platforms like Power Automate Python and shell scripting.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot automation jobs and integration pipelines ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Establish and enforce best practices and governance standards for automation and integration processes.
  • Maintain clear documentation of system architectures process flows and technical configurations.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members and other departments on automation tools and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems Engineering or a related field.
  • 7 years of experience in IT with at least 3 years specifically focused on automation and system integration.
  • Handson experience with automation tools and platforms such as Power Automate UiPath Ansible or similar.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python PowerShell Bash).
  • Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs system integration methodologies and data transformation.
  • Experience working with enterprise systems like ERP CRM or custom business applications.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and concepts is a plus (Jenkins Git CI/CD pipelines).
  • Strong analytical problemsolving and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry experience in government finance logistics or enterprise IT.
  • Certifications in automation or integration platforms (Microsoft Power Platform UiPath MuleSoft).
  • Experience with workflow design orchestration tools or middleware.
  • Understanding of data privacy security and compliance as it relates to automation and system integration.

We are a professional services consulting firm located in Tysons Corner VA. We are staffing for our direct and customer hiring needs.

Bachelor s degree in a related field with 5 years' IT service leadership experience, or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of ITSM processes, tools, and best practices. Experience in coordinating and optimizing ITSM processes. Familiarity with quality/change management methodologies (Six Sigma, ISO, COBIT, Kaizen). Experience with SLOs, SLAs, and performance metrics. Experience with IT support systems like ServiceNow, SCCM, Help Desk ACD, Active Directory, and inventory tools like BigFix. Ability to perform short-term analysis in MS Excel. Experience leading Problem Management and conducting Root Cause Analyses (RCAs). Familiarity with reporting tools like Microsoft Power BI, Crystal Reports. Strong analytical and communication skills.
