Job Description

Job Title: Radiology Technician
Facility: Dallas Regional Medical Center (DRTX)
Address: 1011 North Galloway Avenue Mesquite TX 75149
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: 06:45 AM 07:00 PM (M W or Sun Tues)
Pay Rate: $55/hr (W2) $60/hr (1099)
Position Summary
Dallas Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and certified Radiology Technician to join our CT department for a longterm assignment. This role will primarily focus on performing CT scans while adhering to established protocols and ensuring highquality diagnostic imaging. The ideal candidate is experienced certified in both Radiology and CT and capable of working independently in a fastpaced acute care setting.
Responsibilities
  • Perform highquality diagnostic CT imaging procedures.
  • Operate mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all State and Federal regulations.
  • Accurately document and report patient information and imaging data.
  • Prepare and administer contrast materials including IV insertion.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Licensure: Valid licensure and fluoroscopy permit (as required by the State of Texas).
  • Certifications:
    • ARRT (R)
    • CT ARRT
    • BCLS (AHA)
    • Venipuncture certification (proficient in IV contrast injection)
  • Education: Graduate of a JRCERTaccredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1 year of acute clinical radiology experience preferred.
    • Previous experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in computer systems and imaging software.
    • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
