The Admissions Systems and Engagement Manager supervises Admissions personnel oversees the configuration and functionality of two Slate (CRM) instances implements a comprehensive and effective engagement strategy for prospective students who have not started an application and fulfills various recruitment and admissions needs for the Admissions office.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Summary of managerial responsibilities:
Supervise the parttime Admissions Systems Analyst.
Supervise Admissions Engagement Specialists for all locations and language programs.
Oversee and implement the configuration and functionality (i.e. systems analyst work) in two Slate (CRM) instances.
Develop and implement a comprehensive engagement strategy for prospective students interested in English programs.
Collaborate with Chinese Spanish and Arabic admissions and leadership personnel to implement a comprehensive engagement strategy for prospective students interested in one of the formal language programs (FLPs).
Supervise the Admissions Systems Analyst and engage in systems analyst work for English and Global Slate (CRM) instances which may include:
designing and maintaining appropriate dashboards queries reports and input mapping;
overseeing the delivery of direct and automated email communications;
identifying and developing practices and procedures to maximize efficiency;
assisting with mass email messaging both for general mass emails and event emails; and
implementing and enhancing features in Slate.
Supervise the Admissions Engagement Specialist team and implement a comprehensive engagement strategy.
Supervise and coach the Admissions Engagement Specialist team through training and regular meetings.
Conduct A/B tests with the team to maximize phone call and texting effectiveness.
Work with the team to increase the percentage of started applications.
Create and analyze reports and queries to track calling and texting effectiveness.
Monitor the volume and turnaround time of phone call contacts.
Serve as a secondary supervisor for the Admissions Processor & Engagement Specialist for DTS en Espaol.
Provide input to Chinese Studies and Arabic Studies on their engagement strategy.
Contact prospective students.
Communicate with prospective students and encourage them to apply.
Answer questions prospective students may have about DTS degree programs scholarships and the application process.
Keep track of phone calls emails and texts.
Oversee the Mongoose (SMS texting software) platform.
Coordinate with other departments to create the SFTP Slate to Mongoose (SMS texting software) connection and format the file transfers between the two servers.
Serve as the Mongoose (SMS texting software) liaison.
Create and supervise mass messaging by text through Mongoose.
Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team by generating and sharing relevant data and reports from the Admissions CRM (Slate) that provide insights on inquiry sources lead conversion trends or audience behaviors to inform and enhance marketing strategies. Provide input to thirdparty marketing agencies on prospective student lead generation.
Coordinate with IT to troubleshoot the phone system.
Engage in admissions and recruitment functions:
Represent the seminary through external recruitment at events in the DallasFort Worth area.
Provide general office coverage and assistance for applicants whose assigned admissions counselors are out on recruitment or out of the office for other reasons.
Interact with prospective students through Seminary Preview Days and other events.
Help plan and implement virtual recruitment events.
Meet with prospective students for virtual or inperson visits to introduce them to the seminary give counsel regarding degree program choice and answer questions.
Carry out additional special events or projects as assigned by the Director of Admissions or Associate Director of Recruitment.
Qualifications
Exhibits excellent personal relationship and communication/public speaking skills.
Demonstrates outstanding customer service and the desire to serve prospective students.
Has a flexible personality.
Is a selfstarter who is a fine example of a Dallas Theological Seminary student/graduate.
Is computer literate and able to efficiently use our computer systems to record activities and correspond via email.
Familiarity with enrollment CRMs (Slate or similar product).
Has strong character discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Possesses theological awareness.
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree
DTS graduate or current student (ThM or ministry MA)
Previous ministry recruiting marketing or sales experience
Previous technical experience
Physical Requirements
Able to lift and transport materials of up to thirty (30) pounds on occasion including setting up the DTS display on the field.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Prolonged periods of time on the phone or video conference sessions.
