We are seeking an experienced Facilities Supervisor to work onsite at our Fairfield CA site.
As an employee at Collins AerospaceFairfield Safety is an expectation. Employees are expected to work safely follow all safety rules requirements procedures and instructions always. You are expected to actively participate in the safety program and be mindful of your safety and the safety of others. You are expected to complete all safety training in a timely manner.
What You Will Do
Plan design and reconfigure equipment machinery buildings and structures to ensure the optimal utilization of the organizations facilities.
Assess and evaluate the physical space requirements of the organization and recommends plans to meet needs.
Gather and review data concerning facility or equipment specifications company or government restrictions required completion date and construction feasibility.
Review and estimate design costs including equipment installation labor materials preparation and other related costs.
Ensure proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance.
Conduct machine inventories and arrange disposal of obsolete or nolongerrequired equipment.
Manage facilities contractor management process.
Supervise employees and/or outside contractors who construct maintain and repair utilities systems buildings and equipment via one or more of the following trades: electrical plumbing carpentry air conditioning heating painting and/or general maintenance including custodial & grounds
Provide on and offsite direction to technicians during regular and offhours as needed
Manage all work assignments in a safe and professional manner
Able to work extended hours and overtime to support building and customer needs; nights weekends and on call as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen permanent resident refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) access.
Experience and knowledge of building management systems.
Ability to read blueprints.
Qualifications We Prefer
Ability to prioritize tasks to provide a safe productive work environment to the building occupants
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and be capable of communicating with customers in a professional office setting both orally and in writing
Solid computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft office

The salary range for this role is 72000 USD 144000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
