The Role

As a Business Analyst Consultant you blend deep experience in health care benefits and product development with a passion for analysis harnessing technology to solve complex business problems while focusing to deliver and implement technology solutions within a digital experience. You will work closely with a Product Owner (Squad Leader) and technology team to create prioritize and maintain product backlog as well as translate business requirements to technical resources to focus the team on delivering business solutions with the highest customer value. The Team

The Business Analyst (BA) is part of the Fidelity Health Business Analyst Chapter (team) which supports product development across multiple health care domains. The BA works on a multifunctional Agile scrum team (squad) partnering with technology and business customers to develop and implement product and service features in health care applications from inception to delivery. Your squad Healthcare Data Enablement and Client Reporting Squad is focused on creating business driven data sets from healthcare recordkeeping systems for Analytics and PSW Reporting use cases. Your team will enable data within the Enterprise Analytics Platform to support Healthcare reporting and analytics needs to elevate the experience offered to our clients and their employees. You will partner with the Squad Leader the development team and stakeholders to analyze recordkeeping system Data/tables draft requirements to support various consumption use cases and validate the delivered data sets before handing it off to our consumers.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience required; Masters degree preferred
  • Solid understanding of the Fidelity business with work experience in health care and/or benefits administration and/or product development
  • 6 years Systems Development Business Analyst experience ideally working in an Agile Scrum environment with proven ability to work across multiple multifunctional teams
  • Shown expertise in various business analysis methodologies and techniques including data analysis use case development story writing user acceptance testing and product documentation.
  • Skilled in MS Word Excel PowerPoint Visio; Experience with JIRA or similar agile backlog management and testing tool
  • Experience with Data analysis SQL or basic database concepts is a plus
  • Skilled at translating business vision into defined and prioritized user stories for teams backlog
  • Ability to understand complex customer needs translate them into user stories with concrete acceptance criteria and drive solution formulation with a multifunctional team
  • Customerobsessed and have demonstrated a commitment to delivering frequent high business value features
  • Look for opportunities to innovate and take thoughtful risks to get work done better and faster
  • You effectively and regularly lead facilitate and drive individuals and group meetings to common goals
  • Highly organized and have a proven ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines

The Value You Deliver

  • Working in a Scrum Agile environment to deliver software
  • Leading and conducting business analyses to formulate and make recommendations
  • Creating documenting and leading scrum team backlog (writing user stories / acceptance criteria supporting prioritization running refinement sessions etc.)
  • Collaborate with business partners development teams and QA on plans project management requirements design testing and implementation of solutions throughout the development lifecycle
  • Supporting deployment business readiness and solution enablement e.g. defining and documenting enablement tasks supporting user procedure documentation creation and delivery of solution training to internal teams and communication
  • Prioritize multiple initiatives and business analysis tasks at the same time
