Financial Billing Manager

What does a successful Financial Billing Manager do at Fiserv

The Financial Billing Manager ensures that colleagues and clients receive responsive diligent and outstanding support for a wide variety of revenue managing your functional team this role will drive impact on client satisfaction and help Fiserv achieve results by monitoring processing implementing and recording complex will develop product knowledge company knowledge leadership employee engagement and problemsolving skills.

The Financial Billing Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day functions of the Shared Services billing includes month end close processes controls for invoicing financial systems trending and preparing financial and businessrelated analysis for multiple business divisions inclusive of portfolios across credit government digital and output services.

The Financial Billing Manager will manage a team of senior analysts and billing analysts with ownership for gathering of information validation of data creation of client billing and distribution to external and crossfunctional internal teams. This role will represent shared services in projects for billing migrations integrations and delivery of shared services strategies.

What you will do:

  • Train provide guidance and review the work performed by the senior analysts and billing analysts to ensure revenue transactions are processed timely and accurately in accordance with policies.
  • Provide interpretation for complex transactions.
  • Assist with review of client contracts for set up and implementation.
  • Acumen for Facilitation and Problem Solving within the shared services matrix
  • Engage in annual audit and quarterly reviews as requested.
  • Enhance efficiencies within the billing processes through the use of systems tools and resources.
  • Minimize business risks through trending analysis and communication of client billing.
  • Work closely with internal departments to understand and address business problems and issues.
  • Prepare quantitative analysis qualitative business judgement and build strong relationships with key decision makers and peers across the business units.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to focus on details synthesize information into actionable tasks spot issues quickly and develop recommendations for solutions.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelors degree in business finance management or equivalent field. Combination of educational background related work experience and/or military experience.
  • 5 years Supervisory experience in a teamoriented environment

What would be great to have:

  • Billing or Order to Cash experience using SAP Oracle or other ERP system
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Excel (including large data sets Macros V Lookup and Pivot Tables)
  • Ability to collect aggregate analyze and interpret data
  • Experience with tools such as Alteryx Power Automate Power BI SQL
