Citizens Bank of Kansas is a fourthgeneration familyowned community bank and we are hiring a fulltime Mortgage Loan Assistant (Processor & Closer) to support our mortgage team in Derby. This role plays a key part in ensuring excellent experience for our customers and contributes to the ongoing success and growth of our mortgage department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for loan administration which includes review and uploading of incoming documents updating file status requesting required information to complete the loan process and maintaining regulatory compliance as it pertains to the loan process as well as maintaining open lines of communication with borrower(s) Loan Officers and others working on the loan.
- Responsible for the processing of customers mortgage loan files to provide financing for a home.
- Reviewing residential loan application files to verify that application data is complete and meets Citizens Bank of Kansas policy standards.
- Responsible for completing income and asset calculations meeting secondary market requirements and processing both Conventional and Government loans.
- Ensuring loans are processed in accordance with established guidelines and regulations.
- Responsible for managing all aspects of the mortgage loan closing process including preparing loan documents coordinating with underwriting to clear conditions and collaborating with title companies to ensure a smooth and timely closing.
- Performing all duties in accordance with Citizens Bank of Kansas mortgage standards.

- Two or more years of experience in mortgage lending (processing assisting or underwriting preferred)
