PostBaccalaureate Fellow in Student Affairs
Hendrix College is seeking a fulltime 10month support staff position. Reporting to theAssistant Vice President of Student Affairs the PostBaccalaureate Fellow in Student Affairs will assist with studentfocused outreach and initiatives support the residential experience of Hendrix students and serve a vital role as an afterhours oncall resource for students. On campus residency is required; housing and a meal plan are provided. Primary responsibilities for this highly visible and collaborative position include: - Partnering with personnel in Student Affairs and the Office of Advising & Academic Success to help create and implement studentfocused programming that promotes belonging and student success.
- Guiding and supporting the event planning process in collaboration with student leaders of recognized organizations as well as the Miller Center.
- Serving as the Advisor to the Student Senate Oversight Committee.
- Serving as a member of the divisions Event Management Team and the oncall Residential Life team.
- Assisting in the development and delivery of a Student Leadership Academy
- Performing other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND Education: Bachelors degree required. Experience: Previous work designing and implementing programming for students is required; assessment of that programming for students is preferred. Time spent residing in a residential community on a college campus in a leadership role preferred as is crisis response. Skills: Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills; conflict management professional and friendly; selfmotivated team player; ability to manage multifaceted projects; experience with spreadsheets and Microsoft 365 products; respectful of student privacy and confidential information.
