Job Description
Infosys is seeking a NodeJS Lead the role of Technology Lead you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the golive plan. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create innovative high quality and defectfree solutions to meet our clients business needs. Location for this position isChicagoIL or Richardson TX. This position may require travel.
Qualifications
Basic
Preferred
The ideal candidate will have expertise in JavaScript GraphQL and JSON with experience in developing scalable applications using a Headless CMS and eCommerce platforms. You will work in a collaborative environment partnering with Product Owners designers QA analysts and architects to deliver highquality solutions.
Strong proficiency in and JavaScript.
Handson experience with GraphQL and JSON.
Experience writing unit tests using JEST.
Familiarity with Git and Bitbucket for version control.
Knowledge of Headless CMS implementations.
Experience working with eCommerce platforms.
Ability to learn and adopt coding standards and best practices.
Strong problemsolving skills and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain applications with a strong focus on performance security and scalability.
Utilize GraphQL for building and optimizing APIs.
Integrate and manage a Headless CMS for seamless content delivery.
Write and maintain unit tests using the JEST testing framework to ensure code quality and prevent future issues.
Work with Git and Bitbucket for version control and collaborative development.
Develop and enhance eCommerce platforms ensuring a smooth user experience.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners to align the roadmap with technical strengths and opportunities.
Follow coding standards and best practices continuously improving code quality.
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
Estimated annual compensation range for candidates in the below locations will be
Chicago IL: $75987 to $98784

Qualifications
Basic
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology
- At least 4 years of experience in NodeJS
