The Role:
As a Nuclear Pharmacy Technician youll play a critical role in ensuring the safe preparation and distribution of lifesaving medications for healthcare providers. You will assist in daily operations uphold safety and regulatory standards and collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to support patient care.
What Youll Do:
Safety & Compliance: Follow strict safety protocols identify issues and maintain compliance with USP 797 sterilization standards.
Pharmacy Support: Assist pharmacists with daily operations including medication preparation inventory management and order fulfillment.
Accuracy & Quality: Prepare doses and unitdose syringes perform quality control (QC) checks and ensure all products are stored and rotated properly.
Inventory & Equipment: Maintain facility equipment restock medications & supplies and track expiration dates for proper disposal or manufacturer returns.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with peers customers and leadership demonstrating strong written and verbal skills in all interactions.
Qualifications
The Successful Candidate:
High School Diploma Required (Associates/Bachelors Preferred)
BoardCertified Pharmacy Technician Program Completion
Valid Florida Drivers License & Clean Driving Record
Minimum 10 Hours of Annual Continuing Education (Including CGMP Regulatory Updates & Quality Improvement)
Strong Attention to Detail Organization & MultiTasking Skills
Proficiency in Excel & Word
